Description Tad Fisher 2006-03-22 21:34:11 UTC
The toolbar becomes very cluttered when adding multiple Quick Bookmarks. What I
suggest is that they be combined so that clicking on the name shows a dropdown
list of all the Quick Bookmarks, a la Firefox.

The advantage to this method over Firefox's is that one can see the descriptive
text next to the text entry, instead of some ambiguous icon.

The disadvantage is that Quick Bookmarks couldn't be handled in the same way as
regular Bookmarks with regards to toolbar positioning.

This is the purpose of the Location bar behaviour.

You can do queries there without the need of another box like in firefox.

IMO, not a bug.

A smart bookmark entry with a selectable bookmark functionality is definitely different from the address bar dropdown. It can save many keypresses for users who use dedicated smart bookmark entries heavily.

This is no longer possible (won't) with Epiphany 3.4
