Description Christian Kellner 2006-03-16 22:17:13 UTC
When you edit the recurrence rule itself for a recurring appointment you get the dialog that ask you if you wanna edit that instance only or all of the instances. This makes no sense at all because the recurrence rule is of course always in the main/base event not in any instance!

Selecting All instances here makes evolution crash! I have filed a bug about the crash seperatly.

Thanks for a bug report. The thing is that the code doesn't know that you changed only the RRULE (or EXDATE). What if you change either of these and also something else, like description, or Location, or basically anything. Then that "change the main instance" doesn't make sense always, like when you changed the RRULE by an accident, rather than intentionally. I would keep there the question.
