GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 334367
Cannot read files in the editor window. font seems screwed up
Last modified: 2009-08-15 18:40:50 UTC
Please describe the problem: The presentation of text in the editor window is unreadable. Some areas (eg "C" comments) look reasonable, but dragging a window across or moving or clicking the mouse on the window changes the output and makes it unusable. Tiny parts can be read, but there is overlapped characters, tabbing where none should exist, lines overlap, gaps where text should be... Steps to reproduce: 1. Ubuntu 5.10 2. build anjuta2.0.1 3. run it 4. open a "C" file Actual results: I see a useless editor window Expected results: Be able to read the file and edit it. Does this happen every time? Yep Other information: Anjuta 1.2.4 works fine.
I can confirm this. Also on Ubuntu 5.10 (Breezy Badger). This is using Anjuta 2.0.1, compiled from source with no special CFLAGS/configure flags. Anjuta 1.2.4 installed from the ubuntu repository does not have this issue. Attaching a byzanz recording of how it looks for me.
