Description Raphael 2006-03-04 14:17:14 UTC
It would be great if planner could import ical calendars -- or even use an ical Calendar with real time synchronization.

This would have some benefits:

* in a project with multiple human resources the holiday planning is usually done with some kind of a calendar tool by somebody who is responsible for the holiday planning of the staff. Maintaining those in planner is duplicate work and error
prone and hard to be kept in sync with the original calendar.

* public holidays are the same story -- if the calendar could just be used this would be great.

Plus one from me for this - although just being able to export the tasks for a given resource as ical would already be great.

+1 Manually picking and importing a single ical file works. It would be nice, if it could be imported just by MIME type (e.g. clicking in browser or nautilus)

Note that there is a third party tool called Planner2ICS.
