I frequently get a result as shown in the screenshot (attaching soon).

Basically, the mail list pane kind of vanishes, leaving just a few pixels in height left. The mail preview pane [1] takes almost all the space.

I didn't figure out yet, when exactly I get this fucked up layout. However, IIRC it seems to be triggered fairly often, when switching from Calendar to Mailer. That's waht it was this time. Maybe Contacts, too, not sure...

I cowardly refused to do anything at this point inside Evo, to not lose the height of the mail list I am used to. My current default action is a couragous --force-shutdown.

At least this "cures" it...


Evolution 2.5.91, GNOME 2.13.91+.

Reproducible: no, but happens frequently... (like 10+ times today)


[1] which, btw, is not a *preview* pane but a mail pane ;-)
