Please describe your feature request:
The size of Evolution Mailboxes dramatically increases due to files
attached. It should be posible to delete selectively the attachments but
keeping the message text? this feature is available in other unix mail
client like Mac OS X Mail.

for several reasons, it has been decided to not support deletion of *received* attachments since it alters the original document/message. search the mailing list archives, if interested.
