GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 330870
Adding "License" button and dialog to About dialog
Last modified: 2006-07-27 15:14:27 UTC
HIG says <http://developer.gnome.org/projects/gup/hig/2.0/menus-standard.html#menu-standard-help>: """Opens the About dialog for the application. Use the standard dialog provided by the GNOME libraries, which contains the name and version number of the application, a short description of the application's functionality, author contact details, copyright message and a pointer to the licence under which the application is made available.""" Dasher doesn't have the License button and license info. Also doesn't contain the copyright character and year.

I've added the button, but I'm not sure about what to put in the license field. I understand that the parsing of standard license names isn't yet in any version of GTK - should I use this or not?
Easier to wait for support in Gtk+. Will probably be in Gtk+ 2.10.
