Description Alex Lancaster 2006-02-09 02:12:01 UTC
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #329971 +++

Opening a new bug, as that bug is closed, to make sure it isn't lost.

http://www.gnome.org/projects/rhythmbox/news.html

still mentions 0.9.2 as the latest version.

I think you can still use gstreamer 0.8, but I don't know for how long it will be actively maintained, gstreamer 0.10 which is actively maintained, should probably be stressed as the better one to use going forward.
Comment 2 Alex Lancaster 2006-02-16 10:00:31 UTC
The page has been updated, and now points to http://gstreamer.net/ but it still only mentions 0.8 and makes no mention of support for, or the possibility of using 0.10.

I've updated the downloads page, with an improved dependency list and removed the links to the *really* old (0.8.8) binary packages.
