Description Derek Atkins 2006-02-01 23:14:34 UTC
When I create a new invoice, the dialog opens and it appears that focus is on the date in the first entry.. But when I hit "tab" to move to the next column (because the date is fine), nothing happens. If I click in the date cell then tab works fine. If I enter a line item the cursor moves to the next line and again tab works fine. So, it's only an issue when the invoice is first opened.

I think the problem is that the focus starts somewhere ELSE before it moves into the register portion of the dialog. When I create the new dialog I have to hit tab four times before it actually types in the date cell. I'll note that no typing is actually entered anywhere I can see before those four tabs are typed. So, I have no idea which particular widgets are holding focus.

Actually, this seems to happen on regular (account) registers, too! So I'm changing the component.

I just open a register.. It LOOKS like focus is on the date cell, but if I try to type, nothing happens. It takes tabbing a few times before the cursor actually moves past the date cell and into something else. It's almost as if the register widget isn't getting focus when the window opens.

That other bug describes this problem even better. Closing this one as duplicate.
