Description ems 2006-01-30 10:20:44 UTC
I have some songs that are very loud and other which are very soft. I would like
to make the loud ones be below normal volume and soft ones to be above.

I think this will be solved when Replay Gain support is fully added.
Comment 2 Aldo "Xoen" Giambelluca 2006-03-22 22:13:27 UTC
IMHO this is an important feature.

I think ReplayGain support should be GREAT.
Comment 3 Ruben Vermeersch 2006-04-10 18:13:43 UTC
Moving to the Playback component.
Comment 4 Pau Ruiz 2006-05-01 17:12:02 UTC
I also think replaygain support should be implemented, for the sake of sound quality. (along with DSP plugins)
Comment 5 Ruben Vermeersch 2006-05-01 17:54:21 UTC
As far as I know, there's nobody working on this (yet), most people are working on more urgent matters (like the source rewrite). But anyone who wants to take a shot at it is free to do so.
