Description joyce 2006-01-23 14:10:47 UTC
It would be nice to incorporate support for enhanced podcasts. Namely, features
such as chapters and in-stream images. Totem already seems to be able to detect
and display images so support already seems to be built into GStreamer.

Do you have one (or several) podcast feeds that use these, that we could use as a reference?
Comment 2 joyce 2006-01-25 13:40:53 UTC
The one that got me thinking about this was the following feed:

I will dig up a few others this evening and post them here.

Yes, please add support for .m4a podcasts, it just AAC with a stream of images. Although searching through "chapters" might be hard to add, since nobody supports it besides iTunes.

Depends on GStreamer having Quicktime bookmarks support.
