Description Crispin Flowerday (not receiving bugmail) 2006-01-21 15:49:50 UTC
Distribution: Ubuntu 6.04 (dapper)
Package: gnome-applets
Severity: critical
Version: GNOME2.13.5 2.13.x
Gnome-Distributor: Ubuntu
Synopsis: Killing the gnome-panel causes the trash-applet to crash
Bugzilla-Product: gnome-applets
Bugzilla-Component: trash applet
Bugzilla-Version: 2.13.x
BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.13.2)
Description:
I am trying to debug a problem in the gnome-panel, and if I kill it
(killall gnome-panel) the trash-applet crashes, it is unclear whether it
is crashing when being started up by the new gnome-panel, or whether it
is the old trash-applet crashing when the gnome-panel dissappears.

I've seen this in a few applets. This smell a lot like bug #327972.
