GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 325386
Weather applet-related localisation bug
Last modified: 2006-03-01 18:09:51 UTC
There are some bugs in the localisation of gweather/gnome-applets for Bengali, as described in http://mail.gnome.org/archives/gnome-i18n/2005-December/msg00157.html http://mail.gnome.org/archives/gnome-i18n/2005-December/msg00156.html
These are the fixes for Bengali (bn) -------------------- DEFAULT_CODE:LGAV DEFAULT_LOCATION:ঢাকা DEFAULT_COORDINATES:23-46N 090-23E DEFAULT_ZONE: DEFAULT_RADAR: -------------------- Note: DEFAULT_ZONE & DEFAULT_RADAR have a single space infront of them. BG
My bad, DEFAULT_CODE is VGTJ and not LGAV. Too many TABs open on Firefox! BG
Thanks BG, I updated the strings for this, see http://cvs.gnome.org/viewcvs/gnome-applets/po/bn.po?r1=1.5&r2=1.6 I did an "intltool-update", so there are too many changes; search for "DEFAULT_LOCATION". Would you like to join up the Bengali L10n team? The current translation level is 76% and to have Bengali supported in GNOME, 80% or more is required. See http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?forum=bengalinux-gnome-tran for more. Closing this bug report.
