GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 324795
[PATCH] Supersede and Cancel reference false MIDs
Last modified: 2006-08-17 21:40:56 UTC
When using the Cancel or the Supersede function, pan checks for a local copy of the message in the sent folder and then uses the MID found in local copy. But that is wrong. It should use the MID from the message at the news-server or supersede and cancel could fail. Patch follows.

Any problem with this patch? Cancel and supersede really don't work for me and IMHO this is a programming bug.
You're right. I don't know why this slipped through the cracks.
Due to the progress of the rewrite, it's unlikely that there's going to be another 0.14.x release. Please feel free to check my work on the rewrite's supersede/cancel code. I'd appreciate it. :) *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 351577 ***
