Description ernst.rohlicek 2005-12-16 03:22:40 UTC
Distribution: Gentoo Base System version 1.12.0_pre10
Package: Evolution
Priority: Normal
Version: GNOME2.12.1 unspecified
Gnome-Distributor: Gentoo
Synopsis: UI suggestions
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution
Bugzilla-Component: UI
Bugzilla-Version: unspecified
Description:
Especially for the calendering part:
- The left pane should be hideable - I only have one (the local)
calendar and therefore, I don't switch between any calendar folders. It
takes away precious space in this use case, especially in the work week
view.
- In the work week view:
   1) Appointment titles are not line-wrapped (the tooltips are, though -
for what btw?)
   2) Place of the appointment is not shown - would be great to know ...
I suggest putting this in an own line in brackets.
- For printing: There seems to be no option to print the current work
week view.

hi ernst,
thanks for taking the time to report this.

hiding the folder pane/calendar pane is a duplicate of bug 257654.

buggy wordwrapping should a duplicate of bug 252284.

the appointment location is shown in the enhanced tooltip that will be part of
evolution 2.6 (it is already included in the unstable 2.5.3 release).

missing work week printing view is a duplicate of bug 240302.

therefore closing. :-)
