Description Steven Brown 2005-12-11 02:23:40 UTC
Please describe the problem:
I copied my ~/.tomboy/ folder from one computer to another. On the new
computer, all the white space in the notes is clickable, and this will open a
new note with the title set as the entire contents of the source note. (This
creates a big mess.)

Steps to reproduce:
1. Install Tomboy on a new computer and open it to make sure it it works.
2. Copy the ~/.tomboy/ folder from a previous computer/installation, and
overwrite the newly created folder on the new computer.
3. Run Tomboy and open an existing note.

Actual results:
Clicking on any of the white space will create a new note. Clicking on any link
(a url, for example) will open the link many times, as well as create a new
note. The only way I can click to add text is clicking on some plain non-linked
text.

Expected results:
White space is not clickable. Links only execute once. :)

Does this happen every time?
I've only tried it once.

Other information:
I am using Tomboy 0.3.2 on Ubuntu Breezy.

If I use backspace and delete all the line-breaks, then insert them back, the
white space is not "clickable." If I create a new note, it also functions
correctly. But the next time I start Tomboy, the problem will be there again.
