Description Gad Kadosh 2005-11-30 20:03:01 UTC
Edit the properties of a song so that it has the same Artist or same Album as
songs that are already in your library. Banshee is supposed then to move this
file to the dir that already exists for the same Album or the same Artist - but
it doesn't.
So far I had no problems with automatically moving files to new dirs, Banshee
creates the new dirs and even removes them when they're not needed anymore. The
problem appears to be with existing dirs only.

Moving to the Metadata component.
Comment 2 Josiah Ritchie - flickerfly 2007-01-18 20:35:19 UTC
I can confirm that this is still a problem with SVN post 0.11.4 so a version can be set to that.

Comment 4 Josiah Ritchie - flickerfly 2007-02-20 20:06:16 UTC
Seeing as this is one of the only two remaining bugs from 2005, I'm going to give it a friendly shove out the door in the form of setting the 0.12.x target on it. :-)
Comment 5 Dave Steinberg 2007-11-29 04:27:24 UTC
Still doesn't reliably work on 0.13.1.
Comment 6 Ruben Vermeersch 2008-08-16 10:25:16 UTC
My patch from bug 547853 fixes this in Banshee-1. Closing.

Hot! Thanks a lot Ruben :)
