GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 322861
Evolution Crashes after receiving an email with a vcard for 2006 date
Last modified: 2005-12-01 19:52:45 UTC
Distribution/Version: SuSE 10 Receive an email containing a vcard / meeting request for Jan 6 2006. Try to view/preview the email Evolution Crashes.
Created attachment 55435 [details] Debug ouput file DEBUG_CAMEL=all output
Created attachment 55436 [details] Email containing bad date. I had to edit the email a little bit. I XXX'd out email addresses, and other sensitive data. I also removed a few lines from the DESCRIPTION field.
Furthur testing shows this bug is reproducable. Evolution handles multiple email accounts for me, so I used evolution to create a new meeting and invited a different email account than the one being used to creat the meeting. When I tried to open the new message with the invitation evolution crashed, and continued to crash until I opened the mbox file and deleted that message.
This has been fixed already. Please use evolution-2.4.1 which has the fix. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 315345 ***
