GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 322313
Spell Checker in forms for epiphany
Last modified: 2006-06-28 13:29:17 UTC
Version details: 1.9.2 Distribution/Version: Ubuntu Dapper Forwarded from: http://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/show_bug.cgi?id=18692 How useful would this be! It would be great, I make so many typos using my webmail and on forums. It could use libaspell like gaim, evolution and others use. It could be written as an extension I guess, you would be able to to select whether or not to check the spelling of a perticular text box in the future. I think this would be a great adition - w00ps - typo :)
Anybody interested in implementing this should look at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=16409 and http://spellbound.sourceforge.net/
What about using libsexy ala xchat-gnome?
Is this not a duplicate of http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=121711 ?
Sort of, yes. Although this bug is about making an extension of it, while the other is about doing this in epiphany itself...
Has any development started on this extension?
No.
Anyone implementing this should look at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=151040 .
Err I mean https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=302050 .
I vote for doing this in Epiphany itself and marking this one a dupe. Anyone disagree?
