Description vv39tqc02 2005-11-19 15:42:23 UTC
When setting permissions on a folder/directory, e.g., making a directory copied
from a read-only medium writeable by the owner, it should be possible to set
permissions for the contents of the directory as well. To the best of my
knowledge, the only way to change permissions on a deep hierarchy of folders is
to use chmod (...) *;chmod (...) */*; etc.
