GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 321633
Selection of random contact after deleting a contact
Last modified: 2005-11-20 15:45:04 UTC
Distribution: Gentoo Base System version 1.12.0_pre10 Package: Evolution Priority: Normal Version: GNOME2.12.1 unspecified Gnome-Distributor: Gentoo Synopsis: Selection of random contact after deleting a contact Bugzilla-Product: Evolution Bugzilla-Component: Contacts [was: Addressbook] Bugzilla-Version: unspecified Description: Description of Problem: When a contact is deleted from a contact a random other contact is selected next, which, depending on which contact is selected, jumps the UI to some other part of the list. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Create a contact list. 2. Delete one of the contacts 3. Actual Results: Selection is moved to a seemingly random other contact Expected Results: However the current list is sorted, selection should go to the next contact in the sorted list. How often does this happen? Every time. Additional Information: ------- Bug moved to this database by unknown@gnome.bugs 2005-11-16 17:54 UTC -------
hi, thanks for taking the time to report this. i assume this is a duplicate of bug 232065? i cannot reproduce this in the contact list editor, so i guess you meant "calendar" in the "phone list view" instead of (contact) "list". please reopen the bug if you think it is NOT a duplicate. thanks in advance. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 232065 ***
It is a dup. Thanks. I responded to 232065 because as of 2.5.2 I still see the bahavior.
