Description Edward G Finegan 2005-11-10 21:51:03 UTC
When A usb stick is unmounted via left clicking unmount, the icon disappears
immediately instead of waiting until all buffered data has been written. This
gives the perception that the stick can be removed even though some data is
still being written. For example if a large 400+ MB file is placed on a usb
stick and then unmount immediately after nautilus reports that the copy is
complete the icon will disappear but data remains in the buffer that hasn't been
written yet. A sync should be preformed before the icon disappears.
