Gnome-Distributor: Red Hat, Inc
Synopsis: Crash Nautilus with sidebar tree when go to "Some folder" from "Places" from top panel.
Bugzilla-Product: nautilus
Bugzilla-Component: Sidebar Panel: Tree
Bugzilla-Version: 2.10.x
Description:
Description of Problem:
I have Fedora Core 4 and GNOME 2.10 installed.
I have folder "My Documents" in home directory and add them to file
"~/.gtk-bookmarks" by "Open" dialog from some GTK2 application (for
example: firefox).
I have check to "True" key
"/apps/nautilus/preferences/always_use_browser" in preferences for use
nautilus like browser window. And in sidebar in nautilus choose "Tree".
In top panel in top menu "Places" when i click on link "My Documents"
then nautilus starts, try to display sidebar tree and crash.
If I choose in sidebar not tree but some other thing - all works ok.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Install FC4.
2. Set checkbox for preferences
"/apps/nautilus/preferences/always_use_browser" in gconf-editor
application.
3. Open file browser Nautilus and choose sidebar tree and close
nautilus.
4. Make in home directory folder with space in name (like "My
Documents")
5. Add this folder to "Places" panel menu by some GTK2 applications
"Open" dialog (like firefox or OpenOffice)
6. Try to click on that link "My Documents" in top panel menu "Places".

Actual Results:
Crash.

Expected Results:
Not crash.

How often does this happen?
