GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 319659
Automatic documentation for keybinds script.
Last modified: 2008-07-22 19:27:37 UTC
Create a tool to analyze scripts to extract keybindings and their "learn mode" documentation as a means to automatically document the input methods for Orca.
Having implemented this, perhaps add a keystroke so that a user could quickly obtain an overview of the specialized keybindings for the current app -- A sort-of "What Can I Do Here?" command?
Add accessibility keyword. Apologies for spam.
I'd like to close this bug out -- we have a couple other methods that can give the user information along these lines, though they may not be as convenient. The first is "learn mode" and the second is the preferences/configuration GUI. Sound fair?
> Sound fair? Well.... Maybe.... :-) :-) If the to-be-developed app-specific preferences dialog is going to include a list of the keybindings AND things are arranged so that the app-specific keybindings are listed at the top of the tree so that users can quickly find them, yes I would say it sounds fair.
All are true. Closing.
