Steps to reproduce:
1. Ripping a CD when there is not enough space on the disk
2. Once the disk is full the application hangs and has to be killed.

I haven't tried other IO error situations like disk write protected, no writing
permission etc.

SJ can do nothing about this at the moment.

It doens't hang now, just gets a weird error message (see #333304)
