Description Mark Abney 2005-10-13 21:34:44 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When reading email in a maildir mailbox, messages get marked as read or deleted
appropriately (ie when read or deleted), but the flags on the message within the
maildir cur directory do not get changed to reflect the messages current status.
This causes a problem when a program like mutt looks at the maildir mailbox and
messages which have already been read or deleted via evolution appear new to
mutt. Certain events can cause the flags to be updated, like switching to a
different mailbox, expunging messages, etc.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a maildir mailbox in evolution and read some new messages and delete
some messages.
2. With another MUA that can read maildir, look at the same mailbox. The
messages that were deleted or read with evolution do not appear deleted or read.
3.
