I think the icons in the Places sidebar should be bigger by default (24x24 pixels).

1) It's prettier ;)

2) Makes it easier to click the right target.

3) Makes the Places sidebar look more like the panel Places menu, which is a
goal for GNOME 2.16.

We've actually decided to make it look like the file chooser places, since it
can contain many entries. Therefore, in Nautilus 2.13 they are even smaller than
now.
I wonder whether adding a way to influence it thrugh gtkrc is sufficient.
Comment 3 Xavier Claessens 2006-04-28 11:59:09 UTC
I think this bug should be closed WONTFIX because the icon have the same size than in the GtkFilechooser and that's what we need.

Mentioned in https://launchpad.net/products/nautilus/+bug/43376 as well.
Comment 5 Alexander Larsson 2006-05-16 12:33:22 UTC
Seems like we decided to go with the fileselector size.
