GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 317991
Empty IMAP inbox
Last modified: 2006-01-09 15:26:47 UTC
Please describe the problem: For a few weeks now Evolution is unable to show my inbox. The mail counts are correct and even the correct "unread mail" count is displayed but I can't see any mails within my inbox. Strangely it only affects my inbox. I am using procmail to sort spam etc. serverside to several other IMAP folders and I can open them quite fine without that problem. I tried to reset Evolutions configuration completely. I even created a complete new user to ensure all configuration is done from scratch. The problem is still the same. Steps to reproduce: 1. Start Evolution and open my IMAP inbox 2. 3. Actual results: Instead of listing all current mails of my IMAP inbox nothing is listed. Expected results: A complete listing of my IMAP inbox. Does this happen every time? Yes its reproducable - even on other systems. I am using Gentoo (workstation) and Ubuntu (notebook) and both show this specific problem. Other information: The server uses the courier IMAP server. Version is 4.0.1. I tried several other IMAP mail clients like Outlook and Thunderbird and both are listing the inbox correctly.
Hi Andreas, could you try re-subsribing(Folder->Subscriptions) to INBOX. This should solve the issue. And if it still does not please export CAMEL_VERBOSE_DEBUG=1 and run evolution from the command line and attach the traces. Thanks
Thanks - removing the subscription and adding it again solved the problem.
