Version details: gnome-panel-2.2.2.1-8
Distribution/Version: RHEL 3

We've seen this problem with some inhouse applications and then I noticed that
it is also a problem with Mozilla since I see "Gecko (2)" instead of "Mozilla
(2)" (or something similar) in the Window List when grouping is turned on.
Here's an easy way to see that problem:

(1) select the "always group windows" setting in the window grouping section of
the Window List preferences (Window List 2.2.2.1 utility in the Gnome panel).

(2) launch two separate Mozilla 1.7.7 windows in the same workspace.

(3) look at the list of windows in the Gnome panel and you'll see "Gecko (2)"
for the pair of Mozilla windows when you'd expect to see "Mozilla (2)" or
something similar.

And it's still here in 2.12... See bug 77942. We should really fix this.
