e^1 (e^ made with the dedicated button in scientific view) gets threades
as 14 (0x0e)
, not as 2.7... the problem happens in decimalmode

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. type e^1 or klickthe e^ button and then type 1
2. press enter or clickon =
3.

Actual Results:
14

Expected Results:
2.7...
