Description André Klapper 2005-09-17 03:25:07 UTC
Version details: evolution-2.4.0.0.200509090712-0.snap.novell.11.1
Distribution/Version: suse9.3

in day view, set up an appointment with recurrence. you get that little icon
(two arrors building a circle) in front of the summary text.

drag down the button for one timeslot (30 minutes) to make the appointment 30
minutes longer. the icon disappears, and the summary text goes to the left
because of the alignment. when freeing the left mouse button (the "this instance
or all instances" dialog appears), the icon is shown again, but the text remains
at the left, so you cannot read the beginning of the appintment summary (see
attached screenshot). afer switching to another day and going back, this is fixed.

also happens in work week view (of course, i know it's the same), cannot happen
in work/month week (no drag and drop).

Comment 2 Brent Smith (smitten) 2005-09-17 22:26:42 UTC
In addtion to the above bug, after selectin "this instance only" the appointment
seems to disappear in the Day view for me, but still shows up in the list view.
Marking as NEW.
Comment 3 Chakravarthi 2005-09-19 07:20:19 UTC
It does not always disappear. Editing an instance of personal recurring event
results in moving the event by some time (to be precise ... the differnce
between UTC and local timezone) and if this crosses next day . it will not be
shown in the
the day view.. Still it is a bug to move it around like that ;-)
Comment 4 André Klapper 2005-09-19 09:04:38 UTC
brent and chakravarthi:
i have posted the recurrence bug you refer to as bug 271679. please post
additional comments there, since i have not covered the list view but only the
day view in that report. thanks in advance.
Comment 5 André Klapper 2005-12-21 22:49:11 UTC
fixed in later versions (at least in 2.5.3).
