Description Tonda Nebuzelsky 2005-09-09 16:29:54 UTC
Distribution: Fedora Core release 3 (Heidelberg)
Package: Evolution
Severity: enhancement
Version: GNOME2.8.0 unspecified
Gnome-Distributor: Red Hat, Inc
Synopsis: Ordering of items in the left panel
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution
Bugzilla-Component: Miscellaneous
Bugzilla-Version: unspecified
Description:
It would be very nice if I could reorder the items in the left panel
where the mail folders are displayed in the tree. Currently I see
something like this in the panel:

- On This Computer
	Inbox
	Drafts
	...
- mymail@myserver.com
	INBOX
	...
- VFolders
	MyVFolder1
	MyVFolder2
	...

I would like to change the order to

- VFolders
- mymail@myserver.com
- On This Computer

The reason behind this request is that I very frequently go between the
INBOX and the virtual folders. Because the list of all the folders under
mymail@myserver.com is very long I have to scroll down to see VFolders
and then scroll up to see the INBOX again. This is painful. Reordering
of the root nodes in this tree view would help me a lot.
