Please describe the problem:
eog should remember the zoom level, window position, window size, ... for each
already opened picture like nautilus spatial do with folder's

Bug 311297 is a feature request for the exact opposite of this.

Considering the navigation nature of the current UI, I don't think this spatial behavior fits well in EOG. Images are not like documents. Generally, you have *lots* of images and you don't care about the last zoom level, window dimensions, ... you used for a certain image.

Closing this as WONTFIX.
