Description j.gnome 2005-08-30 18:54:31 UTC
Windows XP, 1.5.3-rc1

1. Insert an image
2. Move it (start dragging, don't release the mouse button)
3. Press esc while still holding down the mouse button

What happens: the image doesn't return to its original position

4. Resize the image

Now it appears in the right place

You can reproduce this with charts too:

1. Open attachment 51582 [details]
2. Start dragging the chart (left mouse button down)
3. Holding down the mouse button, move the mouse
4. Don't release mouse button yet, press ESC
Comment 2 Jody Goldberg 2005-09-05 03:29:59 UTC
patched for 1.5.90
Comment 3 j.gnome 2005-10-20 13:48:04 UTC
I tested steps 1-3 from comment 0 with 1.6.0-rc1.

Esc still doesn't correctly cancel the move:
the image doesn't return to its original position.
Comment 4 Jody Goldberg 2006-04-06 03:40:41 UTC
This is fixed in CVS for 1.7.0
