GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 313756
Epiphany stores the final URL and not the typed one
Last modified: 2005-08-18 12:44:24 UTC
Please describe the problem: When you type a URL and this URL redirects to another, Epiphany will only store in history the final URL and not the one you typed. For example, when you access 'www.psl-ba.softwarelivre.org', you're redirected to 'http://twiki.im.ufba.br/bin/view/PSL'. Epiphany stores only 'http://twiki.im.ufba.br/bin/view/PSL' in history and not the typed one. This is not intuitive. Epiphany should store URLs typed in location entry when they actually accessed. Steps to reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: Expected results: Does this happen every time? Other information:
