GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 312882
document editor unusable after pango/gtk update
Last modified: 2009-08-15 18:40:50 UTC
Please describe the problem: after upgrade to gtk 2.6.9 and pango 1.8.2, the editor and related funtionality (e.g. debugging) is now totally unusable Steps to reproduce: 1. open any text file 2. 3. Actual results: most or all all text displayed in editor tabs is grossly mis-spaced and/or overlaid, moves itself about, and though it is hard to be sure, some of the content may be omitted Expected results: displayed text remains stable, as it used to do Does this happen every time? yes Other information: noted comments about pango 1.8 in 2.0.x cvs - backport needed ?
anjuta 2.0.x in cvs does well, so I think there is just need some backport from 2.x to 1.2.x
*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 311846 ***
the same problem anjuta 1.2.3 and 1.2.2 checked with pango 1.8.x if put previous version of pango before 1.8 every think is back to normal
Closing all fixed bugs. Sorry for the mass update :( ...
