Download http://www.joshisanerd.com/IMG_1544.jpg into its own directory 2. Open that directory in gthumb 3. Click on the thumbnail Expected Results: gthumb will segfault How often does this happen? this can be a duplicate of bug #168938, can you check whether this bug can be reproduced with version 2.6.4 or greater?
That image does not crash for me in gthumb 2.6.5
