Description Uri David Akavia 2005-08-02 19:31:55 UTC
Distribution: Debian testing/unstable
Package: Gnumeric
Severity: critical
Version: GNOME2.10.1 1.5.x
Gnome-Distributor: Debian
Synopsis: Gnumeric crashed while importing text copied from the terminal
Bugzilla-Product: Gnumeric
Bugzilla-Component: import/export Text
Bugzilla-Version: 1.5.x
BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.8.1)
Description:
Description of the crash:
I copied text from gnome terminal (see below).
I pasted it into Gnumeric, and Gnumeric opened the text import dialog
(selecting space as the seperator).
I unchecked space and checked tab fast (before the screen changed) and
Gnumeric crashed.
I can cause this crash by opening a tab-seperated-file using the text importer, having the tab checked and unchecking it.

Precisely what version of gnumeric is this?

See bug 305624.
Comment 2 Uri David Akavia 2005-08-03 15:25:37 UTC
1.5.1, which is before bug 305624 was closed. Marking as duplicate for now, will
reopen later if I encounter it again with a newer version.
