GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 312396
crash with cairo CVS
Last modified: 2005-08-09 14:12:07 UTC
I am using poppler and cairo CVS and I can reproduce the following crash fairly easily (sometimes just opening a PDF triggers it, sometimes you have to click here and there) : Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/evince' Using host libthread_db library "/lib/libthread_db.so.1". [Thread debugging using libthread_db enabled] [New Thread 1024 (LWP 1392)] [New Thread 2049 (LWP 1393)] [New Thread 1026 (LWP 1394)] 0x420b48b9 in wait4 () from /lib/i686/libc.so.6
+ Trace 62152
Thread 3 (Thread 1026 (LWP 1394))
According to simple-dup-finder this is a unique stack trace.
Just so everyone know I have also reported it at the freedesktop bugzilla : https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3955

Not sure, but I think this should be filed against poppler instead. I'm going to go ahead and transfer it the freedesktop bugzilla.
If you read comment #2 you'll see that I already opened a bug in freedesktop bugzilla for poppler.
blah, sorry I totally missed that comment for some reason. I was just about to scold myself here. Sorry, I won't spam anymore :P
No problem :-) I'll try to make sure this bug is updated if/when the one in freedesktop is fixed.

I cannot reproduce this with a CVS build of cairo.
