Last modified: 2005-07-26 19:02:57 UTC
Distribution: Debian testing/unstable Package: Evolution Severity: normal Version: GNOME2.8.3 unspecified Gnome-Distributor: Debian Synopsis: Evolution crashes upon launch Bugzilla-Product: Evolution Bugzilla-Component: Tasks Bugzilla-Version: unspecified BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.8.1) Description: Description of the crash: After clicking on the Tasks button, received dialog box indicating "Application: Evolution 2.2 has quit unexpectedly". Closed app and tried to restart but got same error. Steps to reproduce the crash: 1. Any attempt to start Evolution fails with the same error message. 2. 3. Expected Results: Evolution starts without any errors. How often does this happen? Every attempt. Additional Information: My system at home fails with same error. Same initial cause started the crashes. Running Debian testing(Etch) with 2.6.11 kernel on both systems. I do have an instance of Evo 2.2 running under a different user with no problems but I haven't clicked the Tasks button on that instance. Debugging Information: Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/evolution-2.2' (no debugging symbols found) Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/libthread_db.so.1". (no debugging symbols found) `system-supplied DSO at 0xffffe000' has disappeared; keeping its symbols.
