GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 311622
updates to en_GB and comments on strings
Last modified: 2005-08-03 19:08:26 UTC
#: ../gnome-volume-manager.schemas.in.h:11 msgid "" "Action to take when an iPod Photo is encountered (sync music vs import " "photos)." msgstr "" "Action to take when an iPod Photo is encountered (sync music vs. import " "photos)." abbreviations should not be used unless needed, this string could just as easily be "sync music or import photos" and avoid the use of vs./versus entirely. I'd also like to change sync to synchronise/synchronize but it would be better to choose a word the Americans and British can actually agree on. On balance an abbreviation is better than having to do a crapload of extra localisation. Inconsistent use of capitilisation, CD is capitalised everywhere else but here: #: ../src/manager.c:225 ../src/manager.c:226 #, fuzzy msgid "Burn audio, photo, or data cd?" msgstr "Burn audio, photo, or data CD" I translated it and corrected the case for the translation updated Po file to follow
Created attachment 49788 [details] updated en_GB translation
fixed in CVS, thanks
