Description Dave Foster 2005-07-25 21:27:08 UTC
Quotes in comments appear at comments with a backslash prefacing them. This is
common in database setups in order to store the text with quotes in them in a
database, but they need to be stripped out upon retrieval from the database.
I'm not sure what language art.gnome.org is written in, but in PHP the proper
function would be stripslashes (http://www.php.net/stripslashes).

An example of this can be seen at this link:

Looks like it's just that entry only. I cannot reproduce this bug on that page.
Comment 2 Dave Foster 2005-07-26 09:48:19 UTC
Hmm.. I've just gone and entered a comment with quotes here:
http://art.gnome.org/backgrounds/gnome/1114

Looks like it is more of a data thing for certain entries of the database, as
has been suggested on the mailing list. I'll do what I can to look into that.
