It happens using both gnome and fluxbox window managers Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open firestarter from gnome menu or text console. 2. Push on the reload button at the events tab 3. The app freeze and has to be killed as discribed before. Actual Results: freeze Expected Results: ? How often does this happen? As reported in debian bug #340439 (http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=340439) , the GUI has some performance problems when displaying events. This may cause a denial of service if the GUI is always open and someone is scanning the network. Yann.
Thanks for the bug report. However, the version you are using is no longer maintained. Please upgrade to the most recent version, and open a new bug if the problem persists.
