Description Guess 2005-07-23 18:03:46 UTC
Version details: 1.5.2 RC2
Distribution/Version: Windows XP

Enter some text in a cell and press shift+enter. Instead of entering a hard line
break, it moves to another cell.
Comment 1 Guess 2005-07-23 18:34:51 UTC
Neither control-enter, alt-enter, or combinations thereof work either.
Comment 2 Morten Welinder 2005-07-24 00:51:50 UTC
On Linux and Solaris, Alt-Enter works. (I.e., the code is there but it might
not work right on Windows.)
Comment 3 Ivan Wong 2006-08-26 10:10:23 UTC
Just test against the HEAD and alt+enter works.
I believe that the problem has been fixed in Gnumeric or Gtk+ 2.8

Alt Enter works in 1.7.1. Shift enter and ctrl enter also do the same thing as in Excel.
