GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 310972
Configure switch to enable/disable esound support
Last modified: 2006-04-04 09:23:54 UTC
Currently, libgnome includes support for esound/audiofile, which is conditionally compiled if the libraries are found in 'configure'. I think it would be nicer to provide an option to enable/disable it at compilation time. I have created a small patch against CVS HEAD to implement that switch in case there's interest in this. The default behaviour is enabling esound/audiofile but it gives the option to disable it if the user wants it. Thanks.

thanks for the bug/patch
Sorry for letting this hang in here for so long. It's been commited to CVS now.
