GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 309792
tab related keyboard shortcuts
Last modified: 2005-07-21 18:39:26 UTC
To make the GNOME desktop more consistent the gedit should have the following keyboard shortcuts found in many other applications: - Ctrl page up : next tab - Ctrl page down : previous tab
It uses "Ctrl + Alt + Page [Up|Down]" as dictated by the GNOME HIG.
It seems that at least Epiphany supports both ctrl+alt+page [up|down] and ctrl+page [up|down] combinations...
ctrl+pgUp/pgDown is part of the standard TextView keybindings (it moves the cursor to the start/end of the paragraph), so it can't be used by gedit.
