Description Sebastien Bacher 2005-06-27 09:22:10 UTC
This bug has been opened here: https://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/12159

"Nautilus starts emblems placement on the bottom left corner of folder icons.
This seems to make sense, especially when using the "shared" emblem. But if you
place emblems on "virtual folders" on the desktop (ie. I have a mounted nfs
folder on my desktop) the emblems placement starts in the top right corner
instead of the bottom left. Also note that if i create a normal folder on my
desktop, emblems behave "normally" (they start in the bottom left hand corner).
I have created a png graphic file to demonstrate this phenomenon, which can me
found at: http://www.sharelinux.org/bugs/embbug.png"

Same goes for files on desktop which are actually softlinks created in Desktop/

The attach points of emblems are collected from gtk_icon_info_get_attach_points.
Comment 4 Rodney Dawes 2006-07-06 18:57:03 UTC
This should be fixed for the SVG icons now in CVS.
Comment 5 Daniel Holbach 2006-12-22 15:36:38 UTC
Is the issue fixed?
Comment 6 Daniel Holbach 2007-01-11 09:49:59 UTC
I got no reply on the Ubuntu bug and closed it. Closing this bug also.
