Description Joachim Breitner 2005-06-24 12:20:47 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When starting a program, gnome-session-properties show a icon (clock with
arrow), that is explained nowhere. I can see it when I start yarssr via
gnome-sessoin, and it seems to be the cause for the bootsplash screen not to
disappear. But without proper documentation, I can not find the bug within yarssr.

Steps to reproduce:
Start yarssr via gnome-session, and have a look at gnome-session-properties
before the bootsplash screen

Actual results:

Expected results:

Does this happen every time?

Other information:
Any hints solving the yarssr and gnome bootsplash problem are appreciated.

How can I look at gnome-session-properties before the bootsplash screen shows the icons? The user is not logged in yet at this point in time. I think maybe you're just referring to the fact that programs added to the session by the user all use the same "general" icon?
Comment 2 Joachim Breitner 2007-01-14 18:26:22 UTC
You can do that if you have a program that keeps the bootsplash screen even after login, as yarsst does (did). I can’t check at the moment if it still persists, sorry.

This is a duplicate.
Don't know what's happening with yarssr, sorry.
