Description Stephen Bartlett 2005-06-23 02:40:41 UTC
Documentation bug
Section: 7.8.4
see section 7.8.4

Correct version:
[should remove sections on applications:///, preferences:///,
server-settings:///, start-here:///, and system-settings:///]

Other information:
found this in http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-333351.html
the post from cObblers of 5/5/2005:

"Gnome-2.10 uses a different menus system entirely, so if you're only
half way there then that'll explain it.
There's no "applications:///" in gnome-2.10. "

I installed from stage 3 2005.0, so I am not "half way there." Took me quite a
while to find out that these special URI's are in fact no longer supported.
