Created attachment 48476 [details] message extracted from Inbox that cause Evo to crash I've experienced the same problem. I manually extracted this problem message out of my Inbox file, otherwise Evolution just kept crashing. This message has html and attachments. I wouldn't doubt that the message is screwed up somehow, because it comes from a FirstClass which creates pretty bad messages. But even so Evo shouldn't crash. This is with version 2.2.1.1 built and run on Gentoo.
Clearly reproducible if you just save the HTML text present in the bug description and try to insert that html file into the composer window by selecting Insert->HTML file.
Guys, if there is a facility to do so please mark this bug as not for public viewing - this is a critical bug that can cause very unpleasant side effects, and essentially kill a non-technical users evolution setup. Putting the crashing email publically viewable like this is very dangerous - anyone can now create an email that will cripple an evolution users email. I for one feel very uncomfortable knowing this vulnerability is so visible and so easily exploitable... (especially since we don't know the full extent of the vuln) Upping the severity to critical as this is a very dangerous problem for our target audience: non-technical users.
